Samuel F. Hart, Sr. is the Executive Director of the Middle Georgia Center for Academic Excellence, Inc. The Center operates two Educational Talent Search Programs, Upward Bound Program, and an Upward Bound Match Science Program.

Sheldon Hart is the director of MGCAE’s Upper-Level Thinking Program, a 10-year after school program serving students throughout Bibb County, and the program coordinator for MGCAE’s new Upward Bound Math-Science program.

CLARA HALL is a native of Macon, Georgia where she received education, training, and experience in her chosen profession. She has over 26 plus years of proven experience working with TRIO programs.
LETANGELIA MURRAY
LeTangelia R. Murray was born and raised in Macon Georgia. She was educated in the Bibb County School System and is a proud 1984 graduate of Southwest High School.
LAWANDA N. CARSWELL
Lawanda is a Macon native and a graduate of Southwest High School. In 2005, she graduated from Albany State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems.
LAQUITA MAINER
LaQuita Mainer is a retired educator with over 36 years of experience as a classroom teacher, Instructional Technologist, Professional Learning Coordinator, Grant Writer and Instructional Coach.
ANN GOLAR
Ann has dedicated her career to the growth and development of students seeking postsecondary opportunities. Prior to joining the MGCAE team, Ann spent 27 years at Mercer University as the Assistant Director of their Upward Bound program.
JOEL TOLLIVER
Joel is a product of Macon and graduate of Westside High School. He earned an Associate of Science degree while earning his High School Diploma. He was a participant in the GAMES program at Middle Georgia State University.
COURTNEY HART
Miss Courtney Hart has worked with TRiO for about 6 years. She began her TRiO career as an Adjunct Instructor with Upward Bound in her hometown, where she taught Chemistry and Spanish.
DEONTE WILLIAMS
A native of Macon, Georgia Deonte Williams is a proud 2015 graduate of Westside Pre-Engineering High School. Scholarship, Leadership and Service have been key pillars in his life which led him to attend Fisk University on a full academic scholarship.
