Joel is a product of Macon and graduate of Westside High School. He earned an Associate of Science degree while earning his High School Diploma.  He was a participant in the GAMES program at Middle Georgia State University

He graduated from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania in 2010 with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Computer Science. He has since served in the field of youth development and has a passion for helping young people find and excel to their greatest potential.

Joel believes that guiding potential first generation youth to post-secondary degrees is the key to a greater future for everyone.
