How to Apply for Upward Bound
Prospective students and parents must complete an application and submit it with the following materials:
- Most Recent progress report
- GA Milestone scores
- Recommendations from the English teacher, math teacher, and guidance counselor
- Complete the online application MGCAE Application for Programs
The Middle Georgia Center for Academic Excellence selects students based on their completed application, teacher and counselor recommendations, a review of academic records, and an interview with an Upward Bound staff member. The admissions process for Educational Talent Search is very simple! We provide flyers for interested students attending the schools we serve, and counselors provide on-campus workshops for interested students and those who need the services we offer.
