Ann has dedicated her career to the growth and development of students seeking postsecondary opportunities. Prior to joining the MGCAE team, Ann spent 27 years at Mercer University as the Assistant Director of their Upward Bound program.

A native of Sandersville, Georgia, Ann descends from a long line of individuals who were not afraid to engage in challenging work – farmers and educators.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College, which is also the alma mater her daughter Nikki. Additionally, she and her husband Terry are extremely proud to have two amazing grandchildren, Miles and Sydney.
