The Middle Georgia Center for Academic Excellence is beyond thankful for the helpfulness and generosity of all our partners, Middle Georgia State University and the Bibb County Board of Education. We’re pleased to be backed by some incredible groups and organizations. Without this kind of support, many of the unique activities and opportunities we provide students in our Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math & Science, Educational Talent Search, and Upper Level Thinking programs would not be possible.

Middle Georgia State University’s assistance has been crucial throughout our various programs. By providing us with access to their beautiful campuses, we have been able to host multiple events, including our summer programs. They played an integral part with the creation of our Upward Bound Math & Science program; a great deal of which is taught by their professors. Middle Georgia State has, also, been instrumental in identifying capable tutors who devote time and attention to our students.

Without the Bibb County Board of Education, we would not have nearly as significant an impact as we currently do with students in the region. The Board of Education has graciously provided us with their full support, allowing us to work within many of our local schools, particularly Westside High School, where we have developed a strong collaborative relationship.
